A Message from Arielle

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything to my blog. Once upon a time, when I had a small baby at home, this blog was my lifeline. It was a great way for me to share my knowledge as a jewelry professional, and stay relevant in the industry, while also choosing to be home to care for my children. I enjoyed building the blog and my corresponding Instagram account tremendously, but at the time I felt that it wasn’t enough, so when an unprompted opportunity fell into my lap to return to the workforce,  the moment had come for me to get my feet wet and try a fresh opportunity.

Unfortunately this meant that my blog and Instagram account became neglected. I no longer had the time or inclination, to devote to my own brand when I was giving everything to someone else’s. Over the past two years I’ve been on a journey and so has this little blog I started. I’ve come to realize that the digital aspect of a jewelry business is part of what fascinates me. Creating quality websites and engaging content is such an important part of the jewelry shopping experience. I also have realized that promoting brands or shining a spotlight on beautiful jewelry isn’t the part that intrigues me most, it is educating people about jewelry.

There is so much misinformation out there when it comes to jewelry, and I love when I sit a new client down and explain things to them.  Now defunct, Syms Department Stores, had a saying ” An educated consumer is our best customer” and I’m a firm believer in that.

Jewelry is expensive, and usually associated with, or bought for extremely sentimental purposes. This means that a lot of emotions are often involved when someone buys jewelry. I want customers to be knowledgeable and informed consumers, which leads me to why I’m writing all this. Well it’s twofold. I want my readers to understand that the blog will be changing. It will be dedicated to educating and teaching about jewelry, how to care for it, how to buy it, and what makes different types of jewelry, unique and interesting.

I will also be redesigning the site and including a section where you can contact me, to personally work with me, to find that perfect piece of jewelry to add to your collection.

Whether it’s a redesign or a brand new piece, I can help you with the perfect piece to suit your lifestyle.

On top of all that I’ll also be offering services to help jewelry business with website builds and redesigns, web content management, paid search, paid social, and freelance content creation. I can’t wait to get started on this new journey, and I’m really excited to share it with all of you.
