JA Show 2015 Part 2- Celestial Themes

One post would never be sufficient to cover all the gorgeous jewelry I got to see at the JA show. There are literally hundreds of vendors in one place; there is a lot to see, and plenty that I am sure I missed. I noticed a few overarching trends, but one of my favorites was the use of sun, moon, and stars. Celestial themes were big at this show.

18k yellow gold Opal and Moonstone rings using piecing and carving techniques. Love how they pop against the red nails.

Hard to miss were these incredible and intricately detailed rings from new designer Lisa Kim. Lisa uses lots of ancient techniques, like carving, piecing and repousse to achieve her exquisite creations. They definitely deviate from the typical jewelry one might find, and are a fantastic style statement. They also incorporate a little bit of the celestial theme with the use of moonstone.

Vanna K 18k White gold and diamond starburst earrings
Pow! These 18k white gold and diamond starburst beauties from VannaK are sure to wow.

These diamond starburst earrings from VannaK definitely caught my eye. I’m a sucker for bling. I love that these are both dressy but also not so over the top that you couldn’t wear them out for date night, or a fun GNO. The diamonds really catch the light quite nicely, and bring a radiance to your whole face.

Bling Bling. These diamond starbursts make sure to get noticed in this 18k cuff from Oro dynamics

They say fortune favors the bold, I say fortune favors those with bold jewelry. Like this cuff from Oro Dynamics. Solid 18k gold with gorgeous diamond starburst designs, this piece isn’t for the faint of heart.

This piece was huge. Its hard to miss that opal, and the play of fire, well it was amazing. Pendant by Monica Rich Kosann, in 18k Rose gold with diamonds,

Go big or go home. You might have to sell your house to buy this opal pendant from Monica Rich Kosann, but it would likely be worth it.

Overall I had an absolutely incredible time, at this summer’s show, and I can’t wait to attend the next one to share all the glorious jewelry I find with you!

Do you love celestial themes as much as I do? Any favorite themes or jewelry trends that you’re really into right now?
